Every couple's wedding day is unique and tells a story all its own. Jillian and Brent's intimate wedding at The Rosecomb in Chattanooga, TN, was no exception. This couple wanted a small, intimate setting that focused on candid moments and genuine emotions, and that's exactly what they got. As a photographer that tends to focus on candids first, I truly felt like a kid in a candy store.

From the moment I arrived at The Rosecomb, I knew this wedding was going to be something special. The venue, nestled in the heart of Chattanooga, offered an exclusive space for Jillian and Brent to celebrate their big day. It was their private sanctuary that day, which added to the intimate feel of the celebration. The Rosecomb's charm and character set a romantic backdrop for the day's festivities.

Jillian and Brent made sure that their unique fingerprints were found throughout the day. Not only did they have their very own personal crossword puzzle for guests to solve, but also one of my all-time favorite guestbooks. Childhood Legos were placed on a table for guests to create their very own minifigure of themselves to sign. Of course, things didn't stop there, as Anna from <a href="www.artbyannaclaire.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Art by Anna Claire, LLC</a> create hand drawn mini portraits of the guests.

The excitement was palpable as Jillian and Brent prepared to say their vows. The couple's request for candid photos allowed me to capture the raw emotion and anticipation in their eyes and the genuine smiles on their faces. This approach led to some stunning shots that truly encapsulated the joy of their day.

After the ceremony, a highlight of the day had to be the "un-bridal bridal party's" gift for the couple. As the newlyweds prepared for their first dance, members of their bridal party picked up their instruments and began to play the couple's favorite song, Simply The Best (The Schitt's Creek version, a favorite of mine as well!). This beautiful and touching gesture was the perfect way to kick off the celebrations.

The intimate setting, the candid moments, the pure excitement, and the personal touches made Jillian and Brent's wedding a truly memorable event. Their wedding was a testament to their love for each other, and it was an honor to capture these moments for them.

On a beautiful day in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, the rustic charm of Stone Gate Farm set the stage for an unforgettable wedding celebration for our lovely couple, Kelsey and Shaun. Nestled in the heart of the Tennessee countryside, the farm's tranquil beauty provided the perfect backdrop for the couple's special day.

As a photographer, I am always in search of moments that are authentic and full of life. This wedding was no exception. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the excitement and love permeating the air. The day began with preparations, capturing candid shots of Kelsey and Shaun getting ready separately, their nerves and excitement palpable in the anticipation of the day to come.

The ceremony took place in the stunning outdoor setting of Stone Gate Farm. The natural beauty of the farm offered a serene and intimate atmosphere. As Kelsey walked down the aisle, the joy on Shaun's face was evident. The vows they exchanged under the clear blue sky, surrounded by nature and their closest loved ones, were heartfelt and sincere.

Following the ceremony, the lively reception was the highlight of the day. The barn was filled with laughter, dance, and joy as everyone celebrated the newlyweds. The reception was a true testament to Kelsey and Shaun's love for each other and their shared sense of fun and adventure.

One of the most captivating moments of the day was the couple's bubble exit. As Kelsey and Shaun made their way through a sea of bubbles amidst cheers from their loved ones, their faces radiated pure joy and love. Stone Gate Farm Wedding - Murfreesboro, TN - Kelsey & Shaun

Just recently, I had the pleasure of joining an adorable couple, Mackenzie and Jason, at the idyllic locale of Windsong Farm Wedding and Events for a pre-wedding engagement photo session in Burns, TN. The couple had chosen the same location for their upcoming fall wedding and wanted to preface the big day with a few poignant snaps in the familiar surroundings. Our day started out at the barn, a rustic and charming backdrop that lent itself beautifully to the couple's love story. The weathered barn wood, and the surrounding expanses of greenery added a sense of warmth and nostalgia to the photographs. The couple's smiles were radiant and their love for each other, palpable.

As the day unfolded, we moved away from the barn and ventured towards the beautiful oak grove, where a tranquil pond offered another picturesque setting for the photos. The oak trees, their branches stretching out to the sky, created a canopy of shade over the pond, while the sunlight filtering through the leaves gave the entire scene a soft, dreamy glow. The reflections in the calm waters of the pond cast an enchanting spell, creating the perfect ambiance for the couple to share some tender moments, which were captured in the lens.

After taking a few shots by the pond, we decided to explore the surrounding woods. Wandering through the forest, the couple hand in hand, the rustling leaves underfoot and the sunlight peeping through the tall trees created an intimate atmosphere, resulting in some of my favorite shots of the day. The couple's playful laughter echoed through the woods, their happiness infectious.

The session ended on the patio, but the journey of Mackenzie and Jason was just beginning. Their love story, captured in the frame, will be a delightful prelude to their upcoming fall wedding in the same enchanting location. Their engagement session was a perfect blend of love, laughter, and anticipation for the beautiful journey that lies ahead.
