Nestled in the heartland of Adams, TN, The Ruby Cora served as the picturesque backdrop for Katlyn and Anthony's unforgettable wedding day. This modern, elegant venue, surrounded by the beauty of nature, set the tone for an event filled with love, laughter, and some truly unique moments.

As a photographer, the opportunity to capture a couple's special day in such a stunning setting is always a privilege. The Ruby Cora, with its rolling hills and serene, natural beauty, provided countless opportunities for breathtaking shots. However, the highlight of the day was undoubtedly the beautiful ceremony held at the top of one of the venue's hills. It was a moment that encapsulated Katlyn and Anthony's love for each other, as they exchanged vows against the backdrop of the expansive Tennessee landscape.

Another delightful surprise was the ongoing gag involving a 'Bob The Snowman' doll. This quirky addition, which had made its way from Florida, was placed throughout the venue, eliciting laughter and adding a touch of whimsy to the proceedings. It served as a reminder that weddings, while significant, are also occasions for joy and lighthearted fun.

Yet, it was the unexpected moments that truly made this wedding a unique event. As the sun began to set, we ventured to the top of another hill. The result was a series of gorgeous sunset photos, with Katlyn and Anthony basking in the warm glow of their first sunset as a married couple. These photos, filled with golden hues and silhouettes, are some of my favorite captures from the day.

The ceremony was followed by a reception filled with warmth and joy. The couple's loved ones gathered to celebrate their union, with the beautiful interiors of The Ruby Cora providing the perfect setting for an evening of festivities.

Every couple's wedding day is unique and tells a story all its own. Jillian and Brent's intimate wedding at The Rosecomb in Chattanooga, TN, was no exception. This couple wanted a small, intimate setting that focused on candid moments and genuine emotions, and that's exactly what they got. As a photographer that tends to focus on candids first, I truly felt like a kid in a candy store.

From the moment I arrived at The Rosecomb, I knew this wedding was going to be something special. The venue, nestled in the heart of Chattanooga, offered an exclusive space for Jillian and Brent to celebrate their big day. It was their private sanctuary that day, which added to the intimate feel of the celebration. The Rosecomb's charm and character set a romantic backdrop for the day's festivities.

Jillian and Brent made sure that their unique fingerprints were found throughout the day. Not only did they have their very own personal crossword puzzle for guests to solve, but also one of my all-time favorite guestbooks. Childhood Legos were placed on a table for guests to create their very own minifigure of themselves to sign. Of course, things didn't stop there, as Anna from <a href="www.artbyannaclaire.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Art by Anna Claire, LLC</a> create hand drawn mini portraits of the guests.

The excitement was palpable as Jillian and Brent prepared to say their vows. The couple's request for candid photos allowed me to capture the raw emotion and anticipation in their eyes and the genuine smiles on their faces. This approach led to some stunning shots that truly encapsulated the joy of their day.

After the ceremony, a highlight of the day had to be the "un-bridal bridal party's" gift for the couple. As the newlyweds prepared for their first dance, members of their bridal party picked up their instruments and began to play the couple's favorite song, Simply The Best (The Schitt's Creek version, a favorite of mine as well!). This beautiful and touching gesture was the perfect way to kick off the celebrations.

The intimate setting, the candid moments, the pure excitement, and the personal touches made Jillian and Brent's wedding a truly memorable event. Their wedding was a testament to their love for each other, and it was an honor to capture these moments for them.

The Smith-Trahern Mansion is a beautiful historic home located in Clarksville, Tennessee. The mansion is now a popular wedding venue, and it's easy to see why. The home's elegant architecture provide a stunning backdrop for any wedding ceremony and reception. The perfect natural light that can be found upstairs, the sparkling chandelier in the grand ballroom, and the mansion itself as the perfect backdrop for photos.

I had the please of photographing a small intimate wedding here, and it was such a wonderful experience. The bride's niece sang her down the isle, as well as providing a wonderful ambiance throughout the ceremony. Afterwards, the reception was held in the mansion's dining room. The guests were lively, and so thrilled to be celebrating the special day with the couple.
