Every couple's wedding day is unique and tells a story all its own. Jillian and Brent's intimate wedding at The Rosecomb in Chattanooga, TN, was no exception. This couple wanted a small, intimate setting that focused on candid moments and genuine emotions, and that's exactly what they got. As a photographer that tends to focus on candids first, I truly felt like a kid in a candy store.

From the moment I arrived at The Rosecomb, I knew this wedding was going to be something special. The venue, nestled in the heart of Chattanooga, offered an exclusive space for Jillian and Brent to celebrate their big day. It was their private sanctuary that day, which added to the intimate feel of the celebration. The Rosecomb's charm and character set a romantic backdrop for the day's festivities.

Jillian and Brent made sure that their unique fingerprints were found throughout the day. Not only did they have their very own personal crossword puzzle for guests to solve, but also one of my all-time favorite guestbooks. Childhood Legos were placed on a table for guests to create their very own minifigure of themselves to sign. Of course, things didn't stop there, as Anna from <a href="www.artbyannaclaire.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Art by Anna Claire, LLC</a> create hand drawn mini portraits of the guests.

The excitement was palpable as Jillian and Brent prepared to say their vows. Just recently, I had the pleasure of joining an adorable couple, Mackenzie and Jason, at the idyllic locale of Windsong Farm Wedding and Events for a pre-wedding engagement photo session in Burns, TN. The couple had chosen the same location for their upcoming fall wedding and wanted to preface the big day with a few poignant snaps in the familiar surroundings. Our day started out at the barn, a rustic and charming backdrop that lent itself beautifully to the couple's love story. The weathered barn wood, and the surrounding expanses of greenery added a sense of warmth and nostalgia to the photographs. The couple's smiles were radiant and their love for each other, palpable.

As the day unfolded, we moved away from the barn and ventured towards the beautiful oak grove, where a tranquil pond offered another picturesque setting for the photos. The oak trees, their branches stretching out to the sky, created a canopy of shade over the pond, while the sunlight filtering through the leaves gave the entire scene a soft, dreamy glow.
